- Colored craft papers
- Scissors
- Pencil

Instructions:
- Select grey and pink colored craft papers for the elephant bookmark craft. Print and prepare the template patterns. The template includes patterns for the bookmark, elephant’s head, an ear, inner ear, tail, a blush spot and space between the legs. Use a pencil to trace the template patterns on the selected colored craft papers and use scissors to cut the traced patterns neatly.
- Glue the inner ear cutout to the outer ear cutout.
- Glue the blush spot to the cheek part of the head and attach the ear pattern to the back side of the head (opposite side of the trunk).
- Use a black Sharpie to draw the eyes and mouth-line of the paper elephant.
- Take the bookmark base paper and fold it in half diagonally.
- Fold down the top corner of the top layer and join it to its opposite side.
- Fold up the right, bottom corner and join it to the right side of the top corner.
- Tuck the open side of the right flap inside the base pocket.
- Fold neatly and flatten the tucked part of the right flap.
- Similarly, prepare the left flap to complete the bookmark.
- Cut the open corner to a round edge.
- Turn the bookmark to the other (front) side.
- Attach the small square in the middle of a closed side of the bookmark to mark the legs of the elephant. Attach the tail to the open side adjacent to the leg’s closed side.
- Attach the head to the opposite side of the tail to complete the bookmark.
- Use a matching Sharpie to draw the outline of the elephant bookmark.
