  • Colored craft papers
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Pencil
  • Sharpies
  • Pattern (print the template)

Crab Corner Bookmark Craft

Instructions:

1: Select a colored craft paper for the bookmark and the other patterns for the crab bookmark. Use light craft paper for the bookmark and medium light paper for the other patterns. Prepare the patterns with the help of the provided template (print it here).  Crab Bookmark

2: Take the square paper and fold it in half diagonally. Crab Bookmark

3: Hold the top corner of the top layer and fold it all the way to the opposite side. Crab Bookmark

4: Fold up the right corner and join it along the right side of the current pattern. Crab Bookmark

5: Fold the right flap in half and tuck it inside the triangle pocket at the bottom. Crab Bookmark

6: Flatten the right flap with the origami pattern. Crab Bookmark

7: Similarly, fold and tuck in the left side. Crab Bookmark

8: Cut the round edge along the open corner of the bookmark’s square side. Crab Bookmark

9: Turn the bookmark to the other side. Crab Bookmark

10: Glue the eye cutouts near the closed corner of the bookmark pattern. Crab Bookmark

11: Glue the blush cutouts below the eyes and use a black Sharpie to draw the mouth between the blush spots. Crab Bookmark

12: Glue the claw cutouts on both sides of the bookmark, slightly below the eyes. The claws should be placed facing outside. Crab Bookmark

13: Glue the leg cutouts on the round-edge side (3 legs on each side) to complete the crab corner bookmark. Crab Bookmark

Materials

  • Colored craft papers
  • Pencil
  • Sharpies

Tools

  • Scissors
  • Craft glue

Instructions

Step 1:
