- Colored cardstock papers
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Craft glue
- Sharpies
- Printable Template
Koala Bookmark Instructions:
Step 1:
Print the template. Select colored cardstock papers for the koala figures along with colored craft pink papers. Trace the inner ear patterns and the belly pattern on the pink paper and trace the rest of the patterns on the cardstock paper selected for the koala figures. Trace the template patterns on the selected papers and cut them out nicely using scissors.
Step 2:
Take the head cutouts and the inner ear cutouts of both mother and baby koala patterns. Attach the inner ear cutouts on the ear parts of the head cutout.
Step 3:
Use a black Sharpie or marker to trace the nose of both the mother and the baby koala.
Step 4:
Fill the nose outlines with the black sharpie or marker and also trace the eyes and mouth lines of the koala figures. Use pink sharpie to draw blush spots on the cheeks of both koalas.
Step 5:
Take the belly cutouts and the body cutouts of the mother koala. Attach the belly cutout on the front part of the big body cutout.
Step 6:
Flip the small body cutout to its other side and apply glue on the body part, keeping the hand and leg free from glue.
Step 7:
Attach the small body cutout on top of the big one, aligning both body cutouts along their back sides.
Step 8:
Attach the head pattern on the top side of the body pattern to complete the mother koala pattern. Similarly, attach the head pattern with the body pattern to craft the baby koala.
Step 9:
Attach the cardstock baby koala on the backside of the mother koala to complete the bookmark.
Step 10:
To use this cardstock koala craft as a bookmark, simply slide a page between the body layers of the koala pattern.
