  • Brown paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Construction paper (in fall colors like red, orange, yellow, and brown)
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Paint the craft sticks and print the template
    Prepare three craft sticks and paint them brown. Let them dry completely. Turkey Craft

  2. Trace the patterns: Trace feather shapes onto different colors of construction paper (red, yellow, orange, etc.) and cut them out( you will need 7, see photo). Cut out the triangle from brown construction paper. Turkey craft Turkey craft
  3. Build the turkey body: Arrange the three sticks into a triangle shape and glue them together. Once they’re secure, attach the triangle made from brown construction paper and glue it to the back of the craft stick frame. Turkey craft

  4. Attach the feathers:  Attach the feathers you cut out, to the back of the triangle to form the turkey’s feathers. Turkey craft

  5. Add the face
    Cut two small white circles from construction paper for the eyes. Draw black dots in the center with a marker, then glue them to the front of the triangle. Turkey craft

  6. Finishing touches
    Cut a small orange triangle for the beak and a red teardrop shape for the wattle. Glue both under the eyes, and your turkey is complete!
