Yes, summer might be over, but it’s always the right time to make a Pool Noodle Craft! Transform a Dollar Store Pool Noodle into cute Turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving! These Silly Pool Noodle Turkey crafts will brighten up the kids’ table on Thanksgiving and make us all smile!

Pool Noodle Turkey Craft- another Dollar Store Craft

This is a craft project to create with the kiddos for Thanksgiving!  These Turkeys go together in 30 minutes and promote color, cutting and dexterity.  I love crafty and educational projects, don’t you?

Here’s another fun Turkey Craft to make with your kids.  It’s a paper craft that will put a smile on anyone’s face!

Supplies Needed:

Pool Noodle Turkey Craft- another Dollar Store Craft

  • Dollar Store Poole Noodle – Orange
  • Dollar Store Wiggle Eyes- different sizes
  • Dollar Store Craft Feathers
  • Craft Foam – Brown, Yellow and Red
  • Kitchen Knife – Serrated
  • Low Temp Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Ruler

Pool Noodle Turkey Craft- another Dollar Store Craft

Instructions:

STEP ONE

Measure and cut the orange pool noodle into six-inch lengths with a serrated kitchen knife.  Make sure the kiddos have adult supervision for this step!

STEP TWO

Cut out triangle beaks from yellow craft foam and “L” shaped squiggle waddles from red craft foam with scissors.  Attach features and wiggle eyes to pool noodle with glue gun and low temp glue sticks to create the Turkey’s face.  The low temp glue gun will prevent the pool noodle and craft foam from melting, but you could also use liquid glue.

STEP THREE

Cut a five-inch tall trapezoid from brown craft foam.  Attach feathers to foam with glue gun and glue sticks to create the Turkey’s tail.

STEP FOUR

Attach the Turkey’s tail to the back of the pool noodle with glue gun and glue sticks.

These silly turkeys are a fun way to keep the kids busy before Thanksgiving. In fact, they are so cute, I love making them all year long!

Materials

  • Dollar Store Poole Noodle – Orange
  • Dollar Store Wiggle Eyes
  • Dollar Store Craft Feathers
  • Craft Foam – Brown, Yellow and Red
