Ingredients:

  • 4 bell peppers – all colors
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 24 oz pasta sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Monterey Jack cheese
  • Parsley to garnish

Directions:

  1. Are you ready to create some delightful stuffed peppers? Let’s dive in! First things first, preheat your oven to a cozy 350 degrees. 
  2. While that warmth fills your kitchen, grab your peppers and slice them in half, being sure to scoop out the seeds. Arrange these vibrant beauties cut side up in a lovely 9×13-inch casserole dish. stuffed peppers
  3. Now, let’s add some flavor! Chop up an onion, then sautĂ© it with your ground beef in a medium skillet over medium-low heat. As you cook, break up the meat until it’s beautifully browned with no pink remaining—this will enhance the taste wonderfully! stuffed peppers
  4. In a large bowl, mix your cooked meat and onions with some fluffy rice, 1 ½ cups of your favorite sauce, and any seasonings that excite your palate. Stir it all together until it’s perfectly blended. stuffed peppers
  5. Now comes the fun part—fill those pepper halves generously with your scrumptious mixture! Stuffed PeppersDrizzle a little extra sauce on top and sprinkle some cheese for that delightful melty touch. Stuffed peppers

Classic Stuffed Peppers are a comforting, all-in-one meal made with bell peppers filled to the brim with a savory mix of ground beef, rice, sauce, and seasonings. Baked until tender and topped with melty cheese, they’re a hearty dinner favorite. 

Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers - all colors
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 24 oz pasta sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup monterey jack cheese
  • Parsley to garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut the peppers in half, remove the seeds, and add them to a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  3. Chop the onion.
  4. In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium-low heat, breaking the meat up as it cooks, until no longer pink.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked meat and onions, rice, 1 ½ cups of sauce, and seasonings. 
  6. Fill each pepper half with the mixture. Add another spoonful of sauce on top, then top with cheese.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley to serve.
