Ingredients needed:
2 Tablespoons Butter or Olive Oil
3 cups Chicken, chopped
2 Tablespoons Ranch Seasoning, divided, or more to taste
800g bag Frozen Tater Tots
4oz Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup Sour Cream, more as needed
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
2 cups Cheddar Cheese, divided
2 Slices Bacon, chopped
2 Green Onions, chopped
Note: If desired, you can bake the Tater Tots for 10-15 minutes to make them crispy before preparing this recipe.
How to make this delicious Crack Chicken Tater Tot Casserole:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Place butter or olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Season the chopped chicken with 1 Tablespoon ranch seasoning and cook in the hot skillet until browned all over and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
Remove chicken from heat.
Place the tater tots in a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise. Season with remaining Tablespoon ranch seasoning.
Stir in the chicken and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese.
Pour the chicken mixture into the casserole dish and mix with the tater tots to combine.
