  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 4 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, divided
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided 
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Using a hand or stand mixer, beat the butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until creamy, scraping the sides as you beat it. Brookies recipe

  5. Divide the dough in half, and put one half back into the mixing bowl. Beat in the remaining ¼ cup of flour, then stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips. Brookies recipe
