My Secret to Spreading Sweet Love: Copycat Crumbl Chocolate Cookies with Strawberry Frosting!

Does your family light up at the mere mention of Crumbl Cookies? Mine absolutely does! There’s something truly special about those big, soft, and unbelievably delicious cookies that just makes everyone happy. That’s exactly why I decided it was time to bring that magic into our own kitchen with these incredible Chocolate Copycat Crumbl Cookies with Strawberry Frosting. And let me tell you, they do not disappoint!

 

Crumbl Chocolate Strawberry Cookies 

I still remember the first time I tried a Crumbl cookie, and I was instantly hooked. The texture, the flavor combinations – pure bliss! But let’s be real, a trip to Crumbl isn’t always convenient. So, I set out to recreate that magic at home, specifically with this decadent chocolate and strawberry pairing that just screams “love.” I’ve tweaked and tested, and I’m thrilled to say, these homemade versions are every bit as delightful, maybe even more so because they’re made with extra love right in your own kitchen!

These cookies are truly a showstopper and perfect for any occasion when you want to make someone feel special. While they’re absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day, their rich chocolate base and vibrant, creamy strawberry frosting make them a fantastic treat for birthdays, anniversaries, or just to surprise the ones you love on any ordinary day. Copycat Crumbl Chocolate Strawberry Cookies 

Copycat Crumbl Chocolate Strawberry Cookies Ingredients: 

  • 1 ½ C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened 
  • 1 ½ C light brown sugar 
  • ½ C sugar 
  • 3 large eggs 
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup 
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract 
  • 4 C flour 
  • 1 C Hershey dark cocoa powder 
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch 
  • 2 tsp baking soda 
  • 1 tsp kosher salt 

Strawberry frosting ingredients:

  • 1 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened 
  • 3 C powdered sugar 
  • 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream 
  • ½ C finely diced strawberries 
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract 
  • 1 C Ghirardelli milk chocolate melting wafers 
  • 1 disposable piping bag 
  • 1 large piping bag with a round tip 

Copycat Crumbl Chocolate Strawberry Cookies Directions :

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with a silicone baking mat 
  2. Using a standing mixer, beat the butter, sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla until light and fluffy 
  3. Using a medium bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, salt and baking soda.
  4. Gradually beat the dry ingredients into the wet until a dough forms 
  5. Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop out the dough, mound it into your hand, and roll it into a ball.
  6. Place onto the cookie sheet and lightly press into a thick disk
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes or until firm around the edges 
  8. Allow cookies to cool completely 
  9. Using a standing mixer, beat the butter, powdered sugar, diced strawberries, vanilla and whipping cream until combined, smooth and holds a peak 
  10. Scoop the frosting into the piping bag 
  11. Pipe a tight spiral onto the top of the cookie 
  12. Melt the Ghirardelli melting wafers and scoop them into the disposable piping bag.
  13. Cut the tip off the piping bag and drizzle the chocolate over the cookies.
  14. Allow hardening slightly before enjoying!

Instructions
