Instant Pot Korean Beef BBQ Noodles

I’m always looking for new recipes to make in my Instant Pot. My hubby loves beefy dishes. These Korean Beef BBQ Noodles have the perfect savory flavor that even the kid loves!  This Instant Pot Recipe will be on your “make again” list for sure. 

Instant Pot Korean Beef BBQ Noodles

If you are like me, we use a lot of ground beef and chicken. So, why not put your instant pot to work for you on those too for yummy ‘different’ meals! We have several Instant Pot Ground Beef Recipes and Instant Pot Chicken recipes you can check out!

  • Serves: 4 – 5
  • Prep time: 10 MINS
  • Cook time: 40 MINS

Ingredients needed for Korean Beef and Noodles:

  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 2 Red peppers thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh snow peas
  • 1 cup cauliflower, chopped small
  • ½ white onion, thinly sliced
  • 4-5 green onions
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 3 cloves garlic — minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce.
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 package of Hokkien Noodles

What are Hokkien Noodles?

Egg, or hokkien, noodles are a type of noodle made from wheat flour and egg yolks, characterized by round yellow strands that are soft and chewy when fresh or crispy and firm when dried. This versatile noodle works well in everything from stir-fries to soups or can be deep-fried until crispy and added to salads.

Instant Pot Korean Beef BBQ Noodles

Instructions to make Korean Beef and Noodles:

Set your Instant Pot® to the sauté setting.

Season the stew meat with salt and black pepper.

When the Instant pot is hot, add the sesame oil and beef.

Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the meat is browned on all sides.

Add your onions, and peppers , continue to cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.

Remember to stir often.

Add  the cauliflower, snow peas,  beef broth, garlic, honey, ginger, soy sauce and red pepper flakes to the Instant pot.

Place the lid, lock it and set the to sealing.

Select  manual setting; adjust pressure to high, and set time for 35 minutes.

Prepare your noodles as directed on the package.

After the 35 minutes is up, let it naturally release pressure for 10 minutes.

Open the I instant pot and add your cooked noodles and stir to combine.

Top with green onions before serving.
