We are all on the hunt for easy, delicious meals that don’t take a chunk of time and effort to make. Well, if you are lucky enough to have an Instant Pot, then look no further than this Instant Pot Beef & Broccoli! It only requires a few ingredients and comes together in minutes from start to finish, making it a perfect meal for busy weeknights. And, did I mention how yummy it is?!

Prep Time: 10 min
Cook time: 25 min
Ingredients:
2 lbs flank steak, cut into thin strips
1/3 cup dark soy sauce
2/3 cup water
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 lb broccoli florets fresh
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. minced ginger
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup hot water
Sesame seeds for garnish optional
Instructions:
In a small bowl add your soy sauce, garlic, ginger, red peppers, and brown sugar.
Stir to combine.
Put sliced steak, and soy sauce mixture in the Instant Pot
Lightly toss the steak with the sauce to make sure the beef is coated with soy sauce mixture.
Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to a Sealing position.
Press the “Manual” button and set the time to 10 minutes on High.
While the beef is cooking, put the broccoli steamer and cook until tender.
When the beef is done cooking, quick release.
Carefully remove the lid.
Set your Instant Pot to saute and set the time to 10 minutes.
In a small bowl add your cornstarch and hot water.
Stir until fully combined.
Add the corn starch slurry to the beef and stir to combine.
Stir the cooked broccoli into the beef mixture.
