What is NotifySanta?
With NotifySanta, children instruct Mappit the Elf, who always passes information along to Saint Nick, where they will be on Dec. 25. The mail order NotifySanta kit includes a craft project, stickers, and a coloring page and, of course, a simple form where children can explain where they will be on Christmas. After mailing in the form, kids will receive a handwritten, personalized letter from Santa, reassuring them that he will visit them at Grandma’s, Aunt Linda’s, or even in the Bahamas. NotifySanta
Dina Bruun was inspired to create NotifySanta when her niece explained she would not be spending the holidays with the extended family, as her kids were worried Santa would not be able to locate them if they traveled for the holidays. Dina immediately began working on NotifySanta, an adorable and simple solution to this problem.
“There are so many fun and creative ways to incorporate the magic of Santa into Christmas. And for the child who will not be home Christmas morning, a simple service like NotifySanta can make all the difference,” said founder Bruun.
How Does it Work?
NotifySanta kits can be ordered online. Once you place your order, your child will receive a special delivery from Mappit the Elf
- A fun Craft Project, Stickers, and Coloring Page
- A cute and simple form to complete, telling Santa where to deliver the presents.
- A return envelope, addressed, stamped and ready to go.
- Within one week after the form is returned, the child receives a handwritten, personalized letter from Santa.
