It’s the little conveniences that make a mom’s job easier.
When M was born, we went for the very basics. But soon I discovered what an awesome assortment of baby essentials there are that slightly stray from the basic gear and enter into the super-convenient category.
About Summer Infant’s Baby Essentials:
“Summer Infant is dedicated to developing the safest and most innovative products that stand the test of time. Rest assured that every Summer product, from the crib to the bathtub and everywhere in between, has been designed, developed, crafted, and created with integrity, ingenuity, and safety in mind. We work closely with professionals including pediatricians, child development experts, and lactation consultants to ensure that they are safe and beneficial to the development of your child.”
These essentials range from streamlined versions of classic products, inexpensive convenience items for traveling and home to all-in one, multipurpose baby essentials that give you more use out of your gear.
5 Innovative Baby Essentials:
This innovative, compact folding high chair is pure genius. We’re constantly visiting family for the weekend, and not everyone has a high chair. We just don’t enjoy ourselves when we have to balance the baby on our knees for the whole meal.
The Pop ‘n Sit portable booster is small enough to carry anywhere. It’s also a full-fledged booster seat, complete with a tray, so it’s a perfect solution for small spaces in general.
We also use it on the floor at times for play, when Baby Y is on a “dig through the carpet in search of invisible choking hazards to eat” spree.
We’ve been using the regular Bibbity every since my now three year old started eating solids, and I always swore it was the best bib ever… until Summer Infant came out with the deluxe version! This one has a softer, more comfortable area around the neck. Both have that scoop that catches dropped food (Baby Y even knows how to go looking inside it for more food…) and they roll up for easy travel and storage.
I remember the first time we brought M to a restaurant – it was nothing short of a disaster. The high chairs there have no tray, and the table was his playground…
The Tiny Diner ensures your child has what to eat off of on the go. It catches mess as well, so that you don’t leave behind an embarrassing scene.
4. My Size Potty:
The My Size potty is a stroke of pure genius. It’s like a REAL toilet – except that it’s not! It’s easy to use too with a removable insert that’s very lightweight and not in the least bit bulky.
It has a realistic design with a flusher that makes a flushing sound too, teaching toddlers how to do things right! It also has storage for wipes in the top. M is still waiting for us to remove our big toilet and replace it with “my toilet”.
This is the tub that actually will be used through toddlerhood! The big white basin has an easy plug so you don’t need to wrestle to flip over a huge tub and make a mess.
The support can be used in the baby tub or in a real tub when baby outgrows the tiny one. It has some comfortable padding for that precious little head.
It stacks together with the step-stool base so that you can access the tub better, saving your back. The base also doubles as a double step stool! How brilliant is that? Now M uses it to brush his teeth, and when Baby Y grows up, they’ll be able to do it together! Pure genius.
These baby essentials from Summer Infant are truly priceless for the overworked, overwhelmed mom or dad.
