If your daughter or niece enjoys fashion or expressing herself, then you want to encourage it, right? In the right direction of course. So when a company claims to be about building self confidence through fashion choices, then I definitely want to learn more. And here’s how we are having Fashion Fun with LittleMissMatched.

My Review
We picked out several pieces to try for our first experience with LittleMissMatched. I wanted her and I to get a feel for what they offered and if she truly liked the products once she was using them. Here’s a little bit about each item we tried out.
First we checked out the French Fry Reversible Pillow with Neck Roll. This is a fun and cheerful pillow with a box of french fries on one side and a can of grape soda on the other!
It definitely brightens up the room no matter which side your child puts up. There’s a sweet cartoon face on either side and it looks like it’s just dying to talk to you! The pillow also flips inside out and becomes a neck roll (or what we would call a travel pillow) with a rainbows and junk food print. She liked being able to pick which side to display while I enjoyed seeing her smile at the sweet designs and deciding where it would be set when she would clean her room.
Next on our list was the Junk Food 4-in-1 Convertible Backpack. This baby is multi-functional as it can serve as a backpack, tote, pouch, or a bag depending on which way you turn and tuck the material.
The print is adorable with cartoon drawings of rainbows and junk food, plus you can have a solid color block on one of the tote bag functions. She used it as a backpack at first, then started preferring it as the bag or tote to haul her latest book or tablet as we ran errands or traveled.
And probably the most unique item we tried from LittleMissMatched was the Smelly Donut Socks Gift Set! First, they come rolled up in the shape of donuts inside the packaging which definitely had us both wondering what exactly we were about to open. But then as you unroll each sock, you see a different pattern and a bakery/donut scent emerges along with it.
The scent definitely fades after a few wash cycles, but they were still brightly colored and ready to be mixed and matched with her different moods and outfits. This was probably my favorite of the products because as long as they were clean, she had the freedom to wear whichever two socks she wanted with no input from me. I think it was a small but independent decision she could make for herself and enjoy showing them off all day long.
We definitely want our daughters, nieces, and granddaughters to enjoy their fashion choices without being inappropriate for their ages. That’s why I like the bright & colorful designs offered by LittleMissMatched on their products, whether it’s socks, a dress, backpack, or other accessory that the girls seem to love. Plus they offer other items like patches to attach to a jacket or design your own journal, notebooks, flip flops and more. There’s no question of having fashion fun with LittleMissMatched.
