Let Portrait Innovations Capture Life’s Beautiful Moments!
Y’all, It’s almost Thanksgiving and I’m so excited! It’s that time of year where everyone is scrambling around to get their plans for Thanksgiving Day in order. Getting their homes ready for guests and their shopping lists checked off with those yummy turkey day sides. And when Thanksgiving Day has come and gone, well then there’s all the planning that comes with Christmas. Getting your shopping done, and getting those Christmas cards out in the mail. WAIT. Christmas cards already? If you usually wait till the last minute, you and I have that in common. But this year I turned a new leaf.
I went to Portrait Innovations and it was such a smooth, painless process! I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and getting pictures with them can be an unpredictable experience. But at Portrait Innovations, from the time we walked in the door till we left, I felt 100% satisfied with our experience.
Getting Checked In
The manager Meagan greeted us and checked us in as soon as we walked in. Her and and another photographer there immediately started interacting with my children, which helped them feel a bit more comfortable. It was very clear that these two love their jobs!
Let The Pictures Begin
We headed back to the first room to start our session. We did Christmas photos first, and my daughter was being very difficult. But these two ladies worked with her and made her smile and laugh. They were blowing bubbles and singing, they were really great. We went to a second room to use some other backdrops and did an outfit change. During these photos, my daughter, again, was being very difficult . But they were not one bit annoyed or bothered by my daughters unfocused, wild antics, which was most noteworthy to me.
Taking A Look At Our Photos
Finally, we sat down to view our photos and choose the ones we loved. I was nervous that we didn’t get any good shots with my daughter, but I was pleasantly mistaken. Meagan is really very talented! This is usually the part I dread, but they made it so simple. She helped us eliminate quickly the ones we didn’t want printed and the ones that we did. It was a very organized process when trying to choose the ones we wanted and what package suited us best.
All Finished!
When we were done making our selections, they told us it would be 45 minutes and we could come pick up our photos. I couldn’t believe I would get all my prints the same day! We went and grabbed lunch and when we came back everything was all ready for us. Included in our photo package were our Christmas cards and with the envelopes. I can’t wait to get them out in the mail!
My Thoughts
I tried to shorten my thoughts on my experience but there was just so many great things to say.
