Do you keep a journal? Or maybe you are a list maker like me, always creating lists but rarely getting them all checked off. I keep an on going to-do list in a spiral notebook and just cross off things as completed or add new ones to the end.
My crew uses notebooks for everything from journaling to keeping score of the nightly card game scores. Normally, I buy our spiral notebooks by the case but for the upcoming holidays I wanted to do something a little more special.
Have you heard about Gotcha Covered Notebooks?
They are uniquely designed with your kids in mind. They want every child to feel special, and what better way to do that than by giving them a gift created especially for them.
Gotcha Covered notebooks has hundreds of designs and layouts that you can personalize with your information. They also have templates so you can create your own cover from scratch!
Customizing is easy.
Simply pick the cover and add the text you would like on the front and on the back covers. There are several font options as well as decorative symbols that can be added to your notebook. You even get to pick the color of the spiral on the side of the notebook!
Paper choices include options such as blank for drawing, wide ruled, sketch weight paper, check list grids, daily planner layout, and dozens more.
There is even a reusable paper option in the large (8.5″ x 11″) notebooks with 24 pages (12 sheets) of laminated paper. Simply wipe clean when you or your children are finished writing.
My Thoughts:
I admit I spent far more time than I realized looking at all the covers available before actually making my choices. They are just so cute! From Monkeys to Pandas, and Hearts to cool colored Chevrons.. It is tough to make your selections!
Once my selections were ready, I found ordering to be super simple. The system walks you through each step that requires your input. Being able to see the changes right on my product was nice.
One of the notebooks I selected as called Little Witch. Upon making the selection, another window opens with all your options.
First you select the Size and Style of your notebook.
Next step is selecting the type of paper to put inside your notebook.
On the large sized notebook, you will have 12 choices in the type or paper. For this notebook, we selected the “practice” paper since our little one is just learning to write.
Then you get to select the color of the spiral binding. Options include Black, Blue, Gray, Green, Red, and White. We chose Black.
Now that you have made the basic selections for the notebook layout, the fun begins.
This is where you enter the text, a name in our case and make any adjustments you want until you are happy with the layout. If you get confused, just click the undo button to go back to where you started.
Once you have made all your selections, and reviewed the layout, etc; select to approve your notebook and process your payment.
It’s that easy to have a one of a kind notebook for that special one on your list.
Here are our selections that we created as gifts in no time at all (once I selected the background):
Vintage Floral design in large size, college ruled paper, a blue spiral binding and printed with Katrina on the front. We did not add text on the back.
Smell the Roses in large size, with collage ruled paper and a white spiral binding. Just the initial K on the front.
For our “Little Witch” we ordered the large size with the practice paper (big, bold for early years of learning to write), with the black spiral and her name on the front. For the back, we had “Be wise, be special, be yourself baby girl” which is something we tell her all the time.
And for myself, I love the Flower Power notebook with the checklist paper (remember me telling you how many to-do lists I keep). I had my name printed on the front. Isn’t it too cute?
