Henty was founded as a result of a seemingly simply problem: how to transport business clothing to and from the office and have it ready to wear on arrival. When was the last time you struggled to transport your clothes for a flight or your commute to work? Chances are you folded them into a bag only to arrive at your destination to find them creased or wrinkled. Henty’s founders cycle to work, fly often and exercise daily and it was exactly these frustrations that drove them to find a solution. With nothing on the market that met this need, Jeremy Grey designed and made a prototype to solve the problem. When it worked, he and childhood friend Jon Gourlay joined forces and in 2012, they started Henty. The result – the Wingman, a multi-purpose suit and garment bag which can now be found carrying wardrobes all over the globe.
My Thoughts:
The Henty CoPilot is two bags – an outer garment bag and a 20 liter inner bag – and they can be used together or separately. There’s space for your clothes, laptop and other tech devices, shoes, toiletries and gym gear. It is the perfect size for the 3 day business trip! It’s not just for men, it’s perfect for us ladies who travel as well! As a blogger that travels for press trips, I am always looking for the perfect luggage for the short trip. I can stuff my belongings and dress clothes into a roller carry-on bag, but when I get to my destination, everything is wrinkled. With the CoPilot, the garment bag allows me to hang my dress clothes and it gets rolled around the inner bag. When I unpack, nothing is wrinkled!
The inner bag is the perfect place for toiletries and other items you don’t want mixed with your clothes. No more hairspray all over your clothes- yes that has happened to me before.
You can pick from 2 outer bag options: backpack style (two straps and holds a 15” laptop) or the messenger (one strap and holds a 13” laptop).
