See. Touch. Learn. With Link4Fun Interactive Books! #Review #MegaChristmas17

October 5, 2017 by Christina Richard

Magical Sensory Fun With Animals!

These days, it seems that technology is the center of fun for kids. “Put that iPad down!” is something I say frequently. Although it frustrates me sometimes that technology can consume so much of my kids, there are also so many advanced learning systems to help them learn. It is shown that the more sensory activities are involved, lessons are better absorbed and more neural pathways are formed.

Link4Fun from Stages Learning is a great way to utilize the iPad while using a real book, but without the use of wires, bluetooth, wifi, or any other physical or technical connection. How can that be? Let me tell you!

How The Magic Happens

Link4fun has created a brand new interactive children’s book experience that feels nothing short of magic! All you do is lay your iPad next to the book and this is where the magic happens. Without the use of any wires or connections like we stated above, it works with embedded magnets and invisible ink codes. Pretty awesome, right?

There are 3 books of animals they learn about–Wild Animals, Farm Animals and Pets. Here is what they learn as they play

Where do I live?

They learn where the different animals live by showing them on a map of the world.

What do I eat?

This is a really fun section because the kids get to play a game by dragging different foods listed to the animal they picked. They put silly stuff on there to test the kids and make sure they’re learning.

How big am I?

This educates the child on how big the animal can get.

Fun facts

This section gives some fun facts about each animal.

Watch me

In this section, the child can watch the animal in their natural habitat. Eating and playing are a few things they show.

Gallery

The gallery shows all different kids of pictures of the animals.

Learning Cards

With Link4fun Flashcards, kids use physical flashcards to enrich their iPad experience and to learn beyond the screen. The master-pack includes 72 Link4fun Cards, 36 picture cards and 36 word cards, as well as the free iPad app with 8 different learning activities that teach picture matching, word matching, site reading and new vocabulary.

My kids LOVE playing with these books and cards because they really love animals. They don’t even realize that they’re learning while they play. It’s something they can do together, and they actually play this nice together. Now when we go to the zoo, my son knows a little bit more about each animal than he did the last time. If you’re looking for some good educational fun for your little one, Link4Fun is such a great way to help your little ones! This would make an awesome Christmas present, especially when you don’t want anymore “toys” in the house. Books rocks!
