Every Little Artist Needs Rocketbook Color #MegaChristmas17

August 27, 2017 by Pam Maynard

Rocketbook Color Saves Paper While Encouraging Art

Rocketbook Color gives your child a chance to draw over and over again without wasting any paper while still allowing you to save quality images of every masterpiece! Sounds too good to be true? I thought so too. We are in love with Rocketbook Color!

About Rocketbook Color

Children can draw using any of the Crayola line of dry erase or washable products. Download the Rocketbook app on your smart phone, draw, and hold your phone over the page with the app open… simple as that! The scanned image will be automatically cropped, enhanced, and then saved. Sharing with friends and family is as simple as sending a photo from your phone!

The Benefits to Rocketbook Color

First of all, all three of my kids have always loved being able to use dry erase products. There is something that is fun to kids about drawing with colorful markers and being able to erase it all. Compile that excitement with the excitement of seeing their very own image scanned into the phone encourages children to want to draw!

Rocketbook Color

It isn’t just an exciting thing for the kids. The parents will very quickly see the benefits!

Just a few of the benefits include:

  • no more stacks of paper everywhere
  • no more hiding piles of “masterpieces” in the trash
  • happy, productive children
  • keeps artwork organized and dated
  • easy to share with loved ones
  • easy to erase allowing them to move on to their next piece of art
  • encouraging your child’s artistic abilities without using a forest full of trees!

My Thoughts

I am a huge fan of Rocketbook Color! We have been stuck indoors for almost a week now due to a lovely virus. Finding indoor entertainment for that long without having a TV on constantly can be a chore. My four year old has literally been drawing non-stop on her Rocketbook Color. Not only has she been drawing but in just two days, using the lined pages, she has learned to write her name. It may not be perfect but all I had to do was write a sample on the first line and she took it from there. Not bad for a young four-year-old!

Rocketbook Color

Since my daughter is still learning how to draw, she tends to draw a lot of….. let’s just say abstract art. We aren’t always sure what exactly she has drawn. Keeping every single piece of paper she draws on is a little unnecessary to us but to her, throwing away any of her art is the cruelest thing we could possibly do! If you have little ones, you understand the struggle! With Rocketbook Color, I can save every single masterpiece. Eventually, she will forget what she drew and I can weed through the saved work to keep the ones we love most.
