My Thoughts:
Solvit is serious about their products. These stairs fit a special need for pet owners everywhere. I know some people don’t like pets on the furniture, but our dogs, cats, tortoise, iguana and other pets are part of our family here. They get on the bed, the couch or the padded ottoman. Marley, our Border Collie, is getting older and has trouble getting getting on the couch and getting into our cars and truck. These steps have really helped not only Marley, but our Campwags Campers too! Roger, seen in the photos, paces the bedroom until someone puts him up on the bed. Now, he is learning to use the steps and can climb onto the bed by himself!
I love that the stairs fold up for easy storage and portability. They are easy to clean. The only assembly required was adding the fabric to the treads for better paw traction.
Just with any new thing in our lives, pets have to adapt to change too. Not all our pups are happy to use the steps. We have been training them with treats and praise. Our pups do almost anything for a Pupperoni!
These steps are made for small to medium-sized dogs- up to 120 pounds. The treads are too small for huge doggy paws, not to mention, they can get up onto any bed if they really want to!
