Purchasing supplies for birthday party decorations doesn’t have to be expensive. Often, much of what you can use is already lurking in your home! Do you have craft supplies in a closet somewhere? Plain paper plates can be altered for decoration, leftover cupcake toppers from other parties can be reused after washing, and plain utensils can be jazzed up too!
Grab the hot glue gun and get started!
I la-la-love that I can use buttons to make our Lalaloopsy party complete! The first thing I did was take paint and a circle ice-pop bottom and make my own paper buttons out of extra paper plates we had. All I did was dip the end of the pop ice form into our paint, and stamp it into the paper plate. After each plate was dry, we taped them to our dining room wall for decorative covering.
Next, I grabbed my hot glue gun and started applying buttons to plain plastic utensils and leftover flower cupcake toppers. Once the glue dried we were ready to party!
