My Review:
I LOVE my new Nextbook 8″ tablet! It’s like having my laptop in a lightweight tablet that I can take anywhere. It’s small enough to fit in my purse, but big enough to work on projects, watch movies or read an ebook!
I’m not sure where to start to tell you all the things I love about this tablet. First, let me say that my son thought he was going to keep it for himself, but I did manage to get it away from him long enough to know that he REALLY couldn’t have it because I REALLY like it!
One very important feature that this tablet has is bluetooth. When your boys use only bluetooth headphones, having bluetooth ability on your electronics is a must! I have a bluetooth finger mouse to review, and it has been fun using it on the tablet!
While we are talking about connecting things to the tablet, let me tell you about the ports on this tablet. Most only have one port and it’s only for charging. Not the Nextbook- it has an Audio Jack, a Micro USB, HDMI Port, Mini SD slot and a microphone port. So yes, it’s like having your laptop with you, just smaller.
Did I mention that this tablet is faster than my computer? It has Intel Atom Processor inside and it really is fast! You can switch between apps and web pages like magic! Speaking of apps, your start menu is the same as your laptop start menu if you use the same google login. It saves all your apps, your bookmarked pages and even your settings.
Another great feature is the cameras- this tablet has a front camera and a rear camera so you don’t have to rearrange the tablet to catch a cute photo opp! This also means you can Skype, Facetime or do any other type of video chat without adding a webcam- it’s already built in.
Overall, I am highly pleased with the Nextbook 8″ Tablet and I highly recommend it for anyone- moms, kids, students, grandparents and more! I actually like using it more than my iPad!
