Daniel and Antonio Caballero turned their everyday family meals into a business that puts their meals in every home. As children, they would have a bowl of beans seasoned with sofrito. Sofrito is vegetables, spices and herbs cooked in olive oil. Their father grew up in Cuba and taught them that even though the beans were humble, they are packed with many good nutrients and flavors.
