Dr. Seuss Green Eggs & Ham -Fun Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Green Eggs & Ham is a classic much loved Dr. Seuss story and I am quite sure these adorable Dr. Seuss Green Eggs & Ham pretzels will be a total hit! Aren’t they super cute? AND, you only need 3 ingredients!  Get the kids together to make these easy pretzel treats!

Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham -Fun Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Want to really go wild with Green Eggs and Ham?  These adorable Green Eggs & Ham Cupcakes are the perfect treat for Dr. Seuss’s Day! They require only a few ingredients and are super easy to make. Just follow the simple step-by-step instructions! Then, sit back and watch the kids squeal in delight!

Having a Dr. Seuss’s Day party or just want a few more Dr. Seuss inspired treats? Be sure and check out these fun Dr. Seuss Truffula Tree Cupcakes! And, if you prefer something besides cupcakes, these “Put Me In The Zoo” Cookies or “Put Me in The Zoo” Bark would be the perfect treat!

Ingredients needed:

Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham -Fun Chocolate Covered Pretzels

White Chocolate, almond bark or white candy melts
Snaps Pretzels (shaped like a grid)
Green chocolate candies- I used M&Ms

Equipment needed:

Small microwave safe bowl
Parchment Paper
Baking Sheet (optional)
Piping Bag (or a small Ziplock bag)

Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham -Fun Chocolate Covered Pretzels

 

Directions to make Green Eggs and Ham Pretzels:

Spread pretzels out on a parchment lined baking sheet
In a small bowl melt white chocolate.

Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham -Fun Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Melt on high for 30 seconds, stir and melt on high for another 30 sec.
Stir for 30-45 seconds, allowing for residual heat to help melt the chocolate.
If the chocolate is not smooth, return to the microwave for an additional 15-30 seconds.
Check it at 15 seconds so you don’t burn it.

Add chocolate to a piping or Ziplock bag and cut off the tip.

Squeeze out a test amount to make sure you don’t have too much  or too little chocolate coming out.

Squeeze dollop chocolate into the center of the pretzel and place green chocolate candy in the center.

Repeat this process until all of your pretzels are done.
Set in the fridge to set for about 30 mins.
