Baby Yoda Nutter Butters

April 5, 2020 by Pam Maynard

If you are needing a smile today, you’ll love our Baby Yoda Nutter Butters!  They are are so cute, easy to make and taste amazing- if you can bring yourself to eat this cuteness!

But who is Baby Yoda?

The creature who’s become known as Baby Yoda is the surprise break-out star of The Mandalorian. Wisely kept hidden from all the pre-release marketing for the most anticipated show on the newly launched Disney Plus, he made his debut at the end of the show’s first episode. This was where we discovered that the lucrative target the eponymous Mandalorian bounty hunter was pursuing was actually a green alien infant with large ears – who looked a lot like a certain diminutiveJedi Master.

Baby Yoda is arguably the cutest thing ever to come out of that galaxy far, far away. As soon as he made his debut in The Mandalorian’s first chapter, Baby Yoda became a meme generator of awe-inspiring power, and the most talked about thing in the show. Everything he does is guaranteed to make you go “Aww”, whether he’s sleeping, drinking soup, or even eating a frog creature alive – Baby Yoda can get away with pretty much anything.

Instructions for the Baby Yoda Nutter Butters:

1- Prepare a baking sheet or cutting board with waxed paper.

2- Melt the candy coating according to package directions giving special care not to overheat the candy. If the candy coating is overheated, it will be too thick. You can add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening to help thin the candy but do not add any other type of liquid as the candy will seize and harden.

3- One at a time, use a candy dipper to cover whole almonds in the melted candy and tap to allow the excess to return to the bowl. Transfer the almonds to waxed paper and allow to dry completely.

4- Next, dip each cookie into the candy melts to coat completely. Shake to remove excess candy and then place on waxed paper.

8- Fold down one side and wrap the “coat” around the cookie with the seam in the back.
