Easy Halloween Monster Eye Pretzels 👀

Halloween treats don’t have to be complicated to be spooky and fun! These Halloween Monster Eye Pretzels turn simple pretzel squares into adorable little monsters that are almost too cute to eat. With their sweet-and-salty combination, silly candy eyes, and creepy-cute appearance, they’re an easy Halloween treat that kids and adults will both love.

Halloween Monster Eye Pretzels

One of my favorite things about these Monster Eye Pretzels is that every one can look a little different. Make giant one-eyed monsters, add two goofy eyes, or drizzle them with chocolate to create mummy-inspired pretzel bites. There’s no need to make them perfect—the wonkier those monster eyes look, the more personality they have! They’re also easy enough for kids to help decorate, making them a fun Halloween activity and snack rolled into one.

Whether you’re planning a Halloween party, need a classroom treat, or just want something festive for family movie night, these Halloween Monster Eye Pretzels are an easy addition to your spooky celebration. Arrange them on a Halloween platter, tuck them into treat bags, or add them to a Halloween snack board. They’re bite-sized, fun to serve, and just spooky enough without being scary!

Easy-to-Make Spider Brownies: These Spider brownies are easy and fun to make with your kids! And there are NO SPIDERS! You can add your own if you want to make them scary! You can make them more fun by changing the color of the frosting for the spider web. Or add some edible googly eyes and make your own spider with black frosting!

Screaming Ghost Pretzels: If you are looking for a super fun and yummy treat for Halloween, then look no further than these Screaming Ghost Pretzels! They are SO adorable! And we all know that when you combine salty and sweet, it makes for a delicious, mouthwatering treat!

Mummy Twinkies: With Halloween just around the corner, what could be better than making mummies out of Twinkies? This easy and fun recipe is sure to please both kids and adults alike. All you need are a few simple ingredients, a little bit of creativity, and voila!

  4. Bake for 3 minutes, just enough to soften the chocolate.
  5. Remove from the oven and then top each Rolo with a large candy eye and top each hug with two small candy eyes. Gently press down so the eyes stick. If you want to add to the spooky factor, press the large eyes into the Rolos until it cracks just a little and some caramel will spill out. It will harden back up once set! 6. Let the pretzel bites sit for 30 minutes before serving so the chocolate and caramel set. Repeat the recipe using another baking sheet if you’d like to make more.

Serving Suggestions

Serve your Monster Eye Pretzels on a big Halloween platter surrounded by extra pretzels, popcorn, candy corn, chocolate candies, and other bite-sized treats. They would also be adorable as part of a Halloween charcuterie board or alongside cupcakes and cookies on a party dessert table.

For individual servings, place several pretzel bites in clear treat bags and tie them with orange, black, or purple ribbon. They make cute Halloween party favors, lunchbox surprises, or treats to share with friends and neighbors. 🎃

Notes

  • Try not to overmelt the chocolates and don’t press them down too much. It’ll get quite messy, especially if you plan to stack them in a bowl.
  • Other pretzels, like rounds or mini twists, can be used.
  • Any Rolo and any Hershey’s Kiss can be used. Rolo also has dark chocolate. Hershey’s has kisses in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, cookies and cream, almond, strawberry, and more.
  • Make some colorful ones by using any color candy melts instead of the chocolate.
  • If you want, you can put M&Ms instead of eyeballs on top!
  • Stick it in the fridge for 15 minutes to set even faster. Halloween Monster Eye Pretzels
