My Secret to Peace of Mind During Toddler Playtime & Naptime

As a mom, there’s always a part of me that wants to keep my eyes on my little one, even when I have a million other things to get done around the house. My 2-year-old baby boy is at such a fun and busy age. When he’s awake, he is full of energy, exploring, playing, and constantly on the move. And when nap time finally comes around, he loves getting cozy and recharging after all that excitement.

Whether he’s running around playing or peacefully napping, I love having the reassurance of being able to check in on him without having to stop everything I’m doing. It gives me the freedom to tackle laundry, clean up, make dinner, or simply take care of everyday things while still feeling connected to what he’s doing.

That’s where Babysense really came through for us. Not only has it made it easier for me to keep an eye on my little guy throughout the day, but it has also helped me create a calm, comfortable environment for those much-needed naps. Because when you have an energetic toddler, a good nap is a win for everyone, including Mom!

About Babysense

We are here to celebrate the joyous moments and understand the imperfect ones.

Babysense has actually been around for more than 30 years, which I was really impressed to learn. It all started back in 1991 when two friends who were engineers created what became the world’s first non-touch movement monitor. From there, Babysense grew into a family-owned company focused on helping parents feel more confident and connected while caring for their little ones.

What I love about Babysense is that they’re about more than just technology. Their goal is to make everyday life a little easier and safer for families through thoughtfully designed baby monitoring products. Today, their products are available in more than 30 countries and are made according to international quality standards. Babysense products are also trusted by thousands of hospitals, and the company holds medical certifications in Europe, Japan, and Australia.

Babysense continues to develop new baby-monitoring technology and has received recognition for its innovations, including being a dual-category CES 2022 Innovation Awards winner. With decades of experience behind the brand, it’s easy to see why so many families have turned to Babysense for a little extra peace of mind.

My Thoughts on the Babysense Touch 7″ Touchscreen Dual-Mode Baby Monitor:

One of the things I appreciate most about the Babysense Touch 7″ Touchscreen Dual-Mode Baby Monitor is the flexibility it gives me. With a busy toddler, I can’t stay in the same room with him all day. This monitor lets me check on him while I cook, clean, do laundry, or get other things done.

The 7-inch IPS touchscreen gives me a big, clear view of my little guy. Local monitoring works up to 1,000 feet, so I can move around the house and still keep an eye on him.

I also love the secure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Babysense app. I can check in remotely from my phone, receive smart alerts, and share access with family members. Best of all, there are no subscription fees!

Two Cameras Make Such a Difference

The two cameras work perfectly for our routine. I can keep one where my toddler sleeps and another where he plays. The true Split-Screen View lets me watch both spaces at once. Smart Scan Mode can also alternate audio between the cameras every 10 seconds.

The AI Auto Tracking is especially helpful with an energetic toddler who rarely stays still! I can also set a customizable Focus Area and use up to 6X hybrid zoom when I want a closer look. At nap or bedtime, the advanced infrared night vision lets me check on him clearly without walking in and risking waking him up. Giving me such a clear view of him and everything around him.

Little Features That Make Life Easier

The monitor also offers two-way audio, so I can talk to my little guy when needed. Smart cry detection alerts me when he needs my attention.

I can also check the room temperature and humidity in real time. This helps me make sure his room stays comfortable during hot summer days and cold winter nights.

Battery life is another big plus. It provides up to 20 hours in VOX mode or 12 hours of continuous use, so I don’t have to constantly keep the parent unit plugged in.

Babysense also includes a night light, white noise, and lullabies. Overall, I love how many useful features this monitor packs into one system. I can keep an eye and ear on my toddler while still getting things done around the house. That extra reassurance makes a big difference in my day.

My Thoughts on the Babysense Sound & Light Machine

The Babysense Sound & Light Machine has been a great addition to our nap and bedtime routine. I love that it does so much in one device. It works as a night light, sleep trainer, sound machine, and alarm clock. We can also continue using it as my toddler grows.

One of my favorite features is how customizable it is. You can choose from 16 million RGB colors and adjust the brightness. You can also save your favorite ambiances for naps and bedtime. It offers four sound categories with plenty of choices. These include lullabies, wake-up melodies, playtime music, white, pink and brown noise, and nature sounds.

I also love that I can program schedules. I can use certain lights and sounds as cues for naptime, bedtime, or waking up. The time and temperature display also lets me quickly check his room without needing another device.

I can control everything manually or through the app. This includes the lights, brightness, volume, and schedules. I especially love this when he’s already asleep. I can make quick changes without walking into his room and risking waking him up.

The Sound & Light machine is also battery-powered, compact, and portable. I can easily move it between rooms or bring it along when we’re away from home. Babysense offers a 1-Pack or 2-Pack, which is great if you want one in more than one room.

Overall, I love how much the Sound & Light can do. It helps create a calm and comfortable space for my toddler. At the same time, it gives us useful features for playtime, bedtime, and eventually those big-boy wake-up routines!

A Back-to-School Must-Have for Busy Families

Back-to-school season means getting back into routines, earlier bedtimes, and much busier days. That’s why I think Babysense fits so perfectly into this time of year. The monitor helps me keep an eye on my little guy while I handle everything else around the house, and the Babysense Sound & Light machine helps make naps and bedtime feel calmer for both baby and parents. Together, they would also make such a thoughtful gift for new or busy parents who could use a little extra peace of mind in their everyday routine.
