  • Buttons, Yellow and Green – Dollar Store
  • Cardstock, Green, Black, Yellow – Dollar Store
  • Craft Paint – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple
  • Glue Gun and Glue Sticks – Dollar Store
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors 
  • Permanent Marker, Black
  • Pencil
  • PATTERNS

Instructions:

  1. Gather all supplies. Fold the paper plate at the 1/3 mark by lining up the bottom edge with the bottom edge of the circular indent and crease firmly. Cut the paper plate along the fold with scissors rainbow pot of gold craft
  2. Basecoat the inside of the paper plate in arching stripes of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary rainbow pot of gold craft

  4. Download and print the patterns, then cut them out with scissors. Trace the shamrock once onto green cardstock, the pot once onto black cardstock, and the gold once onto yellow cardstock with a pencil.   6. Attach assorted green buttons to the shamrock with a glue gun and glue sticks. You could also use pom poms, stickers, or even fingerprints dipped in paint to decorate this project. rainbow pot of gold craft
  7. Glue the gold to the top of the pot. Attach assorted yellow buttons to the pot of gold with a glue gun and glue sticks. TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry. rainbow pot of gold craft
