Materials:
- Paper Plate, Large – Dollar Store
- Wiggle Eyes – Dollar Store
- Chenille Stem, Iridescent Tinsel – Dollar Store
- Acrylic Craft Paint – Black
- Cardstock – Black, Purple, Orange, Bright Green
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- White Paint Marker – Dollar Store
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Pencil

Instructions:
- Gather all supplies. Basecoat the inside of the paper plate with black acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.
- Download and print the black cat patterns, then cut out with scissors. Trace two outer ears onto black cardstock, two inner ears and nose onto purple cardstock, one collar onto orange cardstock, and one star onto bright green cardstock. You could also use colored craft foam or craft felt for this project.
- Cut out the patterns with scissors, making sure to cut inside the traced lines for a clean, finished project.
- Attach two wiggle eyes and the nose to the Black Cat’s face with a glue gun and glue sticks. Assemble the ears, then attach them to the top of the paper plate with a glue gun and glue sticks. Glue the star to the collar, and then attach the collar to the bottom of the cat.
- Using scissors, cut two 12” chenille stems into six pieces, each 4” long
- Attach three chenille stem whiskers to the right and left sides of the black cat’s nose with a glue gun and glue sticks. TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
- To finish, draw a cat’s mouth under the nose with a while paint marker.
