- Paper Plate – Dollar Store
- Wiggle Eyes – Dollar Store
- Craft Paint – Bright Green
- Cardstock – Black, Orange, Bright Green, Purple, Yellow
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Permanent Marker, Black
- PATTERNS Paper Plate Witch
Instructions:
- Gather all supplies. Base coat the inside of the paper plate with bright green acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.
- Download and print the witch patterns, then cut them out with scissors. Trace the hair onto orange cardstock, the hat onto black cardstock, the hat buckle onto yellow cardstock, the hat band onto purple cardstock, and the nose onto bright green cardstock. You could also use colored craft foam or craft felt for this project.
- Cut out the patterns with scissors, making sure to cut inside the traced lines for a clean, finished project.
- Attach the two hair patterns along the edge of the paper plate, making sure that they meet in the middle. TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
- Outline the witch’s nose with a wart using a black marker. Attach the bright green nose and two wiggle eyes to the witch’s face with a glue gun and glue sticks.
- Attach the hat to the top of the witch’s head with a glue gun and glue stick. Glue the purple hat band to the hat, and then the yellow buckle on top.
- To finish, draw a smile following the curve at the bottom of the plate with a black marker.
