Ride-on toys have been around for a long time. I love seeing little ones riding on miniature vehicles. But, my all-time favorite ride-on are the ones that look like a miniature version of something we already have. For example, this John Deere tractor from Peg Pergo. How cute would it be to have a dad on his lawn tractor while a little one is on their tractor? The John Deere 6V Mini Tractor Powered Ride-On will make a perfect holiday gift for any little one up to age 3.

John Deere Ride-On Tractor
John Deere is a name that everyone knows. The name is synonymous with hard outside work, farming, and lawn mowing. Growing up, it was nothing to see several big green tractors riding down the road on the way to the next cornfield. So, when it came to getting my granddaughter’s first ride on, what else could we do except get her a tractor? Being raised in the country was great and even though we don’t live there now, I hope her daddy can give her some country morals and hard work motivation.
Tractor Features
Peg Pergo’s John Deere Ride-On features a rechargeable 6-volt battery, working lights and sounds, automatic brake activation, and an adjustable seat. The tractor will work outside or inside, drives at 1.5 miles per hour, and has fun sounds including a horn and motor sounds.
This mini tractor is light at 12 pounds, holds children up to 44 pounds, and is designed for children 18 months old up to about 3 years old. My granddaughter is about 18 months old and loves to play with the sounds. The pedal is in a perfect spot and she is tall enough at 18 months to reach the pedal, push the sound buttons, and steer the tractor.
It’s so cute to see her riding across the yard in her overalls on her John Deere. It makes me smile every time I see it. Her daddy gets just as excited to see her on it. He loves anything with a motor, but tractors are his favorite. He’s always more than happy to put her on it to watch her drive around the living room or in the yard.
My Thoughts on Peg Pergo’s Ride-On Tractor
I love watching my granddaughter play on her tractor. She’s learning every day, but it’s so cute to hear her say “tractor” and “green”. She puts her little animals on it and giggles when the music plays.
Because I grew up in the country, I raised my kids like we still lived there. They get out there and work hard, so obviously we like those values. John Deere is not only a company or brand, it is the symbol of hard work in the country. You could say that John Deere is an American symbol as well. I’m so happy we have the John Deere Mini Tractor!
