Small bowl
Spoon
Sharp knife
Baking sheet
Parchment paper (optional)
Ingredients needed:
8 oz package of crescent rolls
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
½ tsp vanilla
⅓ cup cherry pie filling
How to make these delightful Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Pastries:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together in a small bowl.
Lay the crescent sheet on your baking sheet, and cut it into 8 equal squares. Push the seams together.
Add a dollop of cream cheese mixture to the center of each crescent square.
Fold each corner of the crescent squares, then pinch slightly where they meet in the middle.
Add 2 cherries and a bit of the cherry gel to each center atop the cheesecake filling.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crescents are golden.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
