How to make this cute Craft Stick Unicorn Craft:
STEP ONE
Gather all supplies. To create unicorn, line up four jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Using scissors, trim additional jumbo craft sticks to the width of the unicorn and attach with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP TWO
Paint front and sides of the unicorn with white acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.
STEP THREE
Download, print, and cut out the CRAFT STICK UNICORN PATTERNS. Using a marker, trace the nose and small ear patterns onto pink felt. Trace mane and large ear patterns onto white felt and trace the horn pattern onto yellow felt.
Cut out all shapes with scissors, making sure to cut inside the traced lines for a clean, finished project. Fringe the long edge of the mane by cutting small slits with scissors.
Add iridescent glitter glue accents to the unicorn horn, then set aside to dry. Colored craft paper or craft foam could be used instead of felt.
STEP FOUR
Glue the pink felt nose to the bottom edge of the unicorn. Attach the pink ears to the white ears with a glue gun and glue sticks. Flip the unicorn over and glue the ears to the top right and left sides. You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
STEP FIVE
Flip over the unicorn’s eye pattern and scribble all over the back with a pencil. Flip pattern back over and position in the top center of the unicorn. Trace around the pattern with a pencil, transferring the eyes and eyelashes onto the craft sticks.
Ink in the features with a black marker. Draw the nostrils onto the nose with a black marker.
STEP SIX
Finish by attaching the unicorn’s horn to the back, top center of the unicorn’s head with a glue gun and glue sticks. Tie satin ribbon in a bow and glue to the top center of the unicorn.
