Disclosure Statement for Mom Does Reviews

While winter break is a much needed down time for the kids after the first semester of school, it is also a great way to have some indoor educational fun with them when it is cold outside. Here are four great games from Think Fun and Ravensburger that encourage active play, critical thinking and provide outright fun and joy.

Invasion of the Cow Snatchers (Think Fun)

With Invasion of the Cow Snatchers, you maneuver your flying saucer around various farm obstacles to magnetically beam up all the cows in the correct order. Use your best problem-solving skills to move around hay bales, barns, fences to beam up cows and fly off into space. While
a single-player game, Cow Snatchers offers kids the option to collaborate and solve the puzzles together. It is recommended for kids ages 6+ and retails for just $29.99. You can find it on Amazon.

Thinking Putty Puzzle (Think Fun)

In collaboration with Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty®, Thinking Putty Puzzle is a mind-stretching logic game. Players stretch, pull and knead the putty to solve 60 sticky challenges. Players use the putty to connect various starting and ending points without overlap. It comes with six
vibrant putty colors, including an exclusive, custom ‘Binary Blue’ shade. It is recommended for kids ages 8+ and retails for just $29.99. You can find it on Amazon.

Domino Maze (Think Fun)

Experience all the thrills of a classic domino run – now with an added twist. Domino Maze puts your reasoning skills to the test as you navigate your way through 60 different dynamic challenges including pivots, blockers, and stairs! It is recommended for kids ages 8+ and retails for just $29.99. You can find it on Amazon.

GraviTrax (Ravensburger)

GraviTrax (a 2019 TOTY finalist) is an interactive track system that provides endless activities and challenges for any STEM enthusiast. The main objective: design and build marble racetracks and experiment with gravity, magnetism, and kinetics to propel your ball to the finish line. New accessories for 2019 include The Trampoline, The Scoop and The Lifter.  It is recommended for kids ages 8+ and retails for just $9.99-$24.99. You can find it on Amazon.

These came have provided hours of fun for the kids. We have even shared a few with friends and they have commented on how much their boys love the Domino Maze and how much fun they enjoy playing as a family.

You can find these and other great games from Think Fun and Ravensburger online. See all they have to offer and prepare for a exciting time on Christmas break this holiday season.
