Ingredients
12 cupcakes (from your favorite recipe or boxed mix)
1 to 2 cups vanilla frosting (from your favorite recipe or canned frosting)
2 (4.4 ounce) containers black fondant
24 candy eyeballs
Gold sugar sprinkles
Instructions
Scantily frost cupcakes with vanilla frosting.
Roll out black fondant (to about ¼ cm thick).
Using a circle cookie cutter or biscuit cutter, cut fondant to the same size as the cupcake.
Then, use a knife to cut each circle into three pieces.
Position a semicircle of fondant on the bottom of each cupcake and top of the cupcake, leaving a small space. Press the fondant into place.
Add the candy eyes to the empty space. Then, place the final piece of fondant across the bottom of the opening.
Smooth any frosting that escapes under the fondant to create a clean edge.
Roll the edge in gold sugar sprinkles.
