Maybe you want to navigate magically changing paths in pursuit of treasure, or you have a wee one who could stand to learn colors and numbers. Labyrinth
Ravensburger has two fun Labyrinth games, the regular one with princesses and dragons, and the other which is Harry Potter themed. Both are played the same way where you have changing pathways that you need to navigate to get to the item or character on your card.
Harry Potter Labyrinth
On this version of Labyrinth you are on the hunt for the character card in your hand. The first player to get all their cards wins! I thoroughly enjoy this game because if you play smart you can get to where you are going very quickly. You have to think through each turn to get the ever changing board to work in your favor. This game will keep you on your toes. I really enjoy the dual nature that brings a simplistic set up, but then to play it is such a great challenge.
Space Observatory- Escape the Room Puzzle
This Escape the Room puzzle is not for the feint of heart. It took my whole family several days to complete. I love how we got to spend some nice quiet family time to achieve completing this puzzle. Then once it was done we had to try and figure out how to escape the room. Therefore it was like two activities all in one. There are several escape the room puzzles, which is great because I am ready to tackle another one with my family.
3D Porsche
With this puzzle I was able to get my son a Porsche! He had fun assembling his 3D car puzzle and showing it off to me. Now it sits on his dresser and he keeps telling me he has a Porsche. This cool car has a base with actual wheels that roll. The pieces are shaped just right, and no glue is needed for this puzzle.
Inch Worms
This preschool game from Ravensburger is colorful and innovative. There is a mound of grass with ten adorable inch worm faces peeking out. You spin the spinner, which can be on colors or numbers, and pull a worm up either to the color spun or the number of segments. Therefore this game will help counting and color skills for your kids. At the end you take all your worms and connect them together and the longest wins! We had fun playing with my four year old niece. She is a joyful little girl, and makes us all laugh.
My First Farm
Last but not least this cute Farm from Brio is a great toy for toddlers. Here they can connect tracks, and drive their train around with farm animals in the back. There is a place to place the animal where you can hear it makes sounds. The train is magnetic and cute as can be. I took this to church for the nursery, and one of the two year olds was glued to it for the entire time. He loves to play with this fun train, and I love that he is learning what animals make what sounds.
This Easter you have so many choices in what to get your kids. I myself like things that engage their minds as well as bring fun. All of these games, puzzles, and toys will make your kids think, or help them learn. What better gift can you pick, then to give something that will help develop their brains.
