I’m working with Mealthy on this great post. All opinions are 100% my own.
Do you have a go-to favorite dish that your family begs you to make?
In our house, it’s Ham and Cheese Quiche! Yes, my hubby loves it and so does my son. It’s actually one of the foods he has never changed his mind about eating, unlike most other foods! When my parents visit, yes, they even ask for my Quiche! When I visited friends in Florida, I made Quiche for dinner and before I left, I had to make them another one so they could eat it when I left.
I learned how to make quiche when I was a cook in a restaurant, back in my teens. We made it with half and half- no one worries much about calories when they go out to eat. Ever since then, I’ve been making my signature dish. Sometimes we add vegetables and different ingredients, but our favorite is hands down Ham and Cheese!
Now that have the Mealthy Handbland Immersion Blender, it’s much easier to make our favorite dish.
Let me tell you about the Mealthy Handblend:
You’ll love the newest member of the Mealthy Family, the Mealthy HandBlend. The HandBlend immersion blender is the quick and easy way to whip, puree, blend, chop, whisk, and much more! Immersion blending makes silky-smooth soups right in the pot. But it’s so much more! With all the accessories, you can make everything from sauces to smoothies, and eggs to whipped cream in minutes! Just attach your needed accessory, plug it in and go!
Features I love:
- It’s constructed of high-quality stainless steel with sharp blades and is 100% BPA-free.
- It includes a blender, whisk, and chopper attachments, plus a smoothie cup!
- It’s a great size, not too heavy to use comfortably.
- The top rotary dial lets you adjust between ten speed settings. Need even more power? Press that Turbo button for a burst of power and speed!

Ham and Cheese Quiche Ingredients:
- Frozen Pie Crust- I like the deep dish 9 inch size
- 6 or 7 eggs
- 1 cup milk or half and half (if you aren’t worried about fat content)
- 1 1/2 tsp of Greek Seasoning, or just salt and pepper
- 1/2 pound of cubed ham
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Ham and Cheese Quiche Directions:
Step one: Preheat the oven to 375 – place the frozen pie crust on a round pizza pan and bake for 10 minutes. (I line my pizza pan with foil so when the eggs spills over, it’s easier to clean up)
Step two: While the crust is pre-baking, crack your eggs into a big mixing bowl. Add Milk and seasonings.
Step three: Whip the mixture with the Mealthy Handblend until well mixed and frothy- about 30 seconds.
Step four: Add the cubed ham and cheese into the pre-baked pie crust.
Step five: Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust on top of the ham and cheese. Add another handful of cheese to the top of your masterpiece.
Step six: Bake at 375 for 35 to 45 minutes. The top will be golden brown and eggs won’t be jiggly anymore when it’s cooked.
Step seven: Let it cool for 5 minutes, cut, serve and enjoy!
