Mom’s Thoughts
This Gears! Gears! Gears! Build and Bloom Set is a whole lot of fun. My daughter designed a garden right off that covered the entire board. Then when she turned the crank every gear would spin and cause the next one to turn. Even the stems and flowers would spin which makes the whole thing really neat to see. Once her masterpiece was complete, she felt very accomplished with her garden. In addition to the learning aspects, the colors are vibrant, and the bees and butterflies are very cute. It comes with stickers as well to decorate the butterfly wings and the flowers.
I love that these days girls can get building sets too. Since it gives her a taste of physics and cause and effect while she plays, my daughter has a great start with sets like these which encourage her to think and make things happen. My three year old niece came over yesterday and even she enjoyed this set with the help of my daughter. She was real excited about the butterflies, and liked to watch the gears spin. Therefore this is a perfect toy to introduce her to vitally important skills in life. Most important is that there are endless design possibilities to try, so this is a toy they will return to over and over again.

Mom’s Thoughts
This set is full of cool activity cards that direct you on what to build. In addition to thorough details, it even has challenges for older builders. The colors on this set are fun and bright, and it comes with cute construction men, gears, construction cones, and stickers. My niece who is 3 and nephews, who are 11 and 8, love this building set and have played with it a bunch over the last few days. They keep asking their mom to play it more. The oldest was able to easily follow the directions and build an awesome bridge. Since it kept him busy for a very long time, and is educational play, it was a double win!
