My Thoughts:
I’m always on the look out for special treats for our family pets, whether it’s a holiday and the rest of the family is being given sweets or because we’re working on a new learning task. I use special treats for training, that the dogs only get during training, and no other time. So I like keeping a variety on hand to reward them when they are working on a skill. The size of the P-Nuttier & PB&J Flavored Biscuits are perfect to help my dog learn a new idea. You can even break them in half if you need to, no problem.
I might keep a handful of the CORE Tender Bites or RawRev in a bag in my pocket to toss to the dog when she follows a command. They aren’t going to ruin her diet and they are small enough to be enjoyed simply as a treat since I don’t want to switch foods constantly. But this way, she knows that if she wants this particular treat, then she has to work for it. And she does!
And she disappeared with the WHIMZEES Hedgehog in her bed for a long time as she chewed the poor thing. I like that it’s vegetable based and all natural, so she can chew on it and not get exposed to harmful chemicals and preservatives. Now, the CORE Hearty Cuts I use almost like a “gravy” to her regular dry food when we’ve worked or played extra hard during the day.
