The only things I would add to this projector are a lens cover and a remote with backlight so you can see what you are doing when the movie is playing. Otherwise, we haven’t had any problems with the projector. My son’s friends all want to have an Outdoor Movie Night party, even with 12 inches of snow on the ground!

Need some Fun Ideas for Family Movie Night with a BenQ Projector?
Here are a few for summer and a few for those colder weather days!
- Have a Fun Movie Night while camping. Last time we went camping, our “neighbors” had a projector set up so a movie showed on the side of their trailer. They even had popcorn! My son was invited down to enjoy a movie with a bunch of kids. It’s a great way to make friends too!
- Camp Out in your Living Room. You can pile up sleeping bags, pillows, blankets and more to make it more comfy. If you have a fun indoor tent, the kids would love that. Don’t forget the S’mores!
- Pretend You’re At the Drive-In – Use cardboard boxes to craft cars for the kids to sit in. Bring everyone popcorn that fits into the cars “cupholders.”
- Cook food and snacks to tie in to the movie. If you watch Despiciable Me, be sure to have Minion Cupcakes, have Minion crafts for the kids to make and even have a pin the eye on the Minion game for before the party!
- Set up a Popcorn or Ice Cream Candy Bar for snacks. Don’t forget the fun flavors for popcorn: Cheese, Sweet (with cinnamon Sugar) and Salt and Pepper and Spicy (with Cayenne pepper.) Have your guests bring all kinds of candy and toppings to put on top of a big scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. Don’t forget the whipped cream!
