My son had so much fun gluing everything on his cape! He got to choose the color of the letters we cut out and could not wait to see what the finished product would be. He did an awesome job putting this together and he was very proud of his creation.

My daughter is a little too young to make this by herself, but she had a lot of fun helping! Her papa and I got it started and she helped loop the tulle around the band. She even helped put on the rhinestones! She was super excited when her tutu was ready to wear!
My Thoughts
I have to say that these projects from Seedling were super fun, and my kids really had a blast. Other than having to cut out the letters, the superhero cape was very age appropriate for my 4 year old son. However, I will say that the tutu was a lot of work to get started. Mostly because I have never made a tutu before. But once we got the hang of it, it wasn’t so bad. I would highly recommend these DIY kits.
If you have a little one that has a love to use their imagination and get crafty, they will love these. They would make a great birthday or christmas gift. It’s something different than your average toy, because they get to customize their own!
