This toy is addicting even to us big kids! My eldest (14 years old) LOVED this thing. He has always been “geared” (see what I did there 😉 ) towards these sorts of toys, the more he can create – the better! The building possibilities are endless with 3-D connectors, channels, a motorized power lifter , and so much more! I can’t wait for my nephew to get a load of this thing. He’s 7 but is going to flip out! He may just have one under the tree for Christmas!
Puzzle Doubles – Find It! Dinosaurs:
This mama fell in love with this puzzle. Teaching kids to use their minds to put a picture together is fantastic, but The Learning Journey upped the anty with this one. The fun only begins AFTER the puzzle is assembled. This is a puzzle and a game. Two educational toys for one price – it doesn’t get any better than that! It teaches:
1) Object Recognition – by having the child place a game piece over the object located on the puzzle’s border once it is located inside the illustration.
2) Word Recognition- Flip over the game piece and the name of the object appears. As the object is identified in the illustration,place the word game piece over the same object located on the picture’s border.
The kids in Sunday School are going to LOVE this puzzle! I love how nice and sturdy the pieces are! Great for little hands to hold on to.
Little Baby Bongo Drums:
Let your little start marching to his beat at an early age with these little bongos. These drums come equipped with great sound effects, rhythm sections and built-in demo songs. My nephew is going to love these little bongo drums and I suspect his big sister will too!
