I started out breastfeeding when Kaylee was born and was heartbroken when our pediatrician and I decided to switch her over to formula. She’s happy and healthy so I feel like I did my best. Bottle feeding allows her brothers and sister and Daddy all to help with meal times. We have tried a bunch of different baby bottles including ones from Babalou baby.

why Babalou baby bottles
What makes the baby bottles from Babalou baby super awesome?
- They offer a variety of nipples for the bottles that are anti-colic, including sippy cup and straws.
- With the interchangeable tops the bottles grow with baby to cups so you’ll only need one set of bottles.
- Stainless steel bottles are double wall insulated, dishwasher safe, BPA free, and non toxic.
- Removable handle for easy grip for baby.
- Liquid measure markings on the inside of the bottles (measurements are in ml).
- Easy to clean- hand wash or dishwasher.
- Weighted ball system with claim that baby can even drink from the bottle upside down.
We have tried the 6.08 oz (180 ml) baby bottles as well as the 8.11 oz (240 ml) baby bottles with Kaylee. I had to refresh myself on the ml to oz difference when I realized the measurements on the inside of the bottles were only in ml. Kaylee tends to have a lot of spit up after her bottles but I am thankful to say that our cleanup of spit up has decreased with the use of the Babalou baby bottles. She may dribble a little but there are no more large spit-ups.
Kaylee is nine months old now and becoming more independent each day. The handle on these bottles allows her to get a good grip and hold them by herself. We use the 6 oz. bottles for water and juice during the day and the larger 8 oz. bottles for her milk. When she is done drinking and realizes the bottle is empty she tends to toss it down. Thanks to the impact plastic bottom there’s no damage to our floors from the cups when she throws them.
The Babalou bottle accessories help make toting and clean up a breeze. The coozies are available in small and large to fit both bottle sizes. If I’m not toting our diaper bag I hook the coozie to our stroller and we have it when she wants a drink of water while we are out. The cleaning element is very handy. It includes a brush and plastic key looking nipple cleaner. We have hand washed and put all the bottles through the dishwasher and haven’t had a dirty part come out yet. I was worried about the straw parts but it all comes apart and has come clean each time.
You can purchase the Babalou bottles for $21.99 (180 ml/ 6 oz) and $23.99 (240 ml/ 8 oz). All of their bottles have a lifetime warranty (for manufacturer defects)! Super awesome, right? I think so. Do you own any Babalou baby bottles? What do you think makes them super awesome?
