“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” ~ Benjamin Franklin
Did you know that there are numerous ways to learn? I have one child that has a photographic memory. If he hears it or sees it – he’s got it (not sure where he got that from…). My eldest is very much a hands on learner. He gets bored listening to explanations or watching diagrams, but let him put his hands on it and he can soar. The caboose of the family is more what I consider “average”. She learns by hearing, seeing, and doing. This is just in my little corner of the globe… I’m gonna take just a second to give a HUGE shout out to all of the teachers out there! My hat’s off to ya’! Teaching twenty something kids, who learn twenty something different ways… there’s not enough money in the world to repay your dedication!
See, we can cram facts and dates down our children’s throats, but if we don’t give them a love for learning; we are doing them a huge injustice! Learning Resources offers an enormous variety of tools to help us guide our kids into a lifetime of learning! From learning the alphabet to building a volcano – they have something for everyone! I’m going to highlight just a few of their fabulous products, but you can go here and find so much more!

Erupting Cross-section Volcano Model:
My oldest kiddo LOVES volcano’s and had a blast setting this one up and watching it erupt; his mom loved the fact that clean up was a breeze! Setup was super simple too. Being able to view the cross section view is a huge plus for mom and kids alike!
