About Numeracy Legends:
Numeracy Legends is a board game for kids that inspires fun in math learnings and pave the way for the fundamentals in coding for kids. We recently received all three of the games from Numeracy. Each game works on developing a different skill set for kids (and this mama too! You don’t realize how much you’ve forgotten until you’re put to the test!)
Trilogy Gamesets
- The Rainbow Unicorn: resource allocation and route arrangement game based on graph theory
- The Zerda Fox: memory challenge and probability evaluation game.
- The Gluttony Dragon: logic thinking and group confrontation game based on game theory.
We had fun playing these games. I really don’t think we could choose a favorite! The games are so bright and colorful, I honestly don’t think the kids even realized they were sharpening their math skills at all! Anything that gets the kids doing math in the summer, gets two HUGE thumbs up from me!
Mom’s Thoughts:
One thing that drew these games near and dear to this mama’s heart, is the fact that my 8 and 12 year old sat down together and played these games and they AGREED on what to do! Let’s review y’all… kids sharpening math skills, kids playing together, kids agreeing – SOLD!
These games would make fantastic birthday gifts. Kids will love you because they’re fun – Parents will love you because it’s educational. My sister homeschools and she is going to LOVE having a set of these games to pull out when Math gets “boring” on those cold winter days!
