Kids home on summer vacation and they have loads of energy. One great way to release that energy is to get them outside to play! Grab a Frisbee or ball and take the pups outside too! Depending on your pet, they might NOT be able to keep up with your kids. But, Core RawRev can help! Our Favorite Outdoor activities:
Sprinkler/Hose fun: As you can see, Willow loves to attack the water stream. Not only does it keep her cool and hydrated, but she gets exercise chasing the spray. For younger kids, set up a sprinkler and let them all join in. Be sure to make sure your pup’s energy level matches your kid’s. Willow would be perfect for tweens and teens to play with, maybe not with toddlers.
Hiking near a brook: We love to take our pups walking in the woods. The best part of our hike around our property is the babbling brook that runs through the middle. My son will put a handful in his pocket and Kirek, our German Shepherd immediately sits and watches him for cues. She LOVES the RawRev and LOVES making her boy happy!
Puzzle Bowls: We find that hungry puppies and younger dogs eat too fast. Rather than letting them inhale 2 big meals, we give them a fun meal at lunchtime in a Puzzle Bowl. Not only does it stimulate their brains but satisfies their tummies. Kids love to watch the pups figure out how to get the kibble out!
