The Negg is the Worlds’ Greatest Egg Peeler. It peels eggs fast, easy and it’s even kinda fun to shake that shell right off!
Okay, let’s get real. Boiled eggs are great for all kinds of foods from egg salad to stuffing at Thanksgiving. But the pain is peeling them. I have never mastered the art of peeling eggs, but like most people, I just get through it the best way I can. Until I received the NEGG.
The Negg is this little container that has an opening on the bottom and top, You put a little water in the container, put your freshly boiled egg in it and pop the top on it. Give it a few vigorous shakes and then take the egg out. The shell should easily come off.
I will admit, it did take a few tries in order to get the hang of it. The trick is to not shake your eggs too much. If you do, the shell doesn’t come off easily. I don’t know why it is just how it is.
Taking the opportunity to use the NEGG, I boiled a whole dozen eggs. After shaking my way through them, I was at a loss at what to do with all my newly peeled eggs.
Then in walks my husband, disappointed that there were no more eggs to peel, asking, “What’s for lunch?” He was happily munching on egg salad sandwiches 10 minutes later.
