Great Father’s Day Gifts From Seedling
Father’s Day just became way cooler with craft kits from Seedling. These kits are fun, creative and give a new level to the standard gift giving for Father’s Day. Now dad can sport a great bow tie made by his children, or play them in a mini game off Foosball. He can also take a day to fly an epic Box Kite designed and decorated by the very children he will be spending his time with. Most noteworthy is these kits can be made for dad or given to him and made with him. Now his fatherhood can be celebrated while making memories to last forever with these kits or many others from Seedling.
With the Make Your Own Bow Tie Kit, you can create unique bow ties that will stand out in a crowd. My daughter was able to make these all by herself and decorate them with glitter paint. Her dad is going to look amazing when he wears one of these beauties to church on Father’s Day. She will be elated that he is wearing something she made for him. The kit comes with everything you need to make three cool Velcro bow ties.
If you have a playful dad, try the Make a Mini Foosball Table. This Foosball Table was fun to color and decorate. First you place the green felt in the wood box. Then you chose team colors and decorate your players and make them team flags. There is tape to decorate the box with, and to mark the handles of the sticks for each team. Then put the player stickers on the included mini clothespins and you are all set to play.
We designed our teams to be the Fireballs and the Narwhals. It was fun and I know my husband will think it is cool when he gets it for Father’s Day. My kids will keep him busy then, challenging him to verse them over and over again.
Last but not least we had the Build Your Own Box Kite kit. My son designed the pictures on the kite, and even put his initials on it. He still has to paint some of the sides when it is dry enough to flip over. When he gives the finished kite to his dad, they will have to find some time to go and fly it. I think that is even more exciting to him then decorating the kite. The kite comes assembled with paint and glitter to deck it out just the way you want it. It also has the string in the kit. Therefore once it is decorated and dry, it is ready to soar.
Since I really like to see my children be creative, I really love Seedling. They have diverse crafts and kits that appeal to all ages. My children love to do them. In addition to being fun to make, many kits leave you with a tangible, usable product afterwards. My daughter still has a Mad Hatter Hat she made last year, and wears it when playing dress up. For Father’s Day we chose to make the products and give them to my husband, but they would be just as great to do with him. It is a great bonding time for a dad to get down and make something with his kids. Once made then of course they have to try it out. Seedling makes crafts right along side memories.
