It’s so funny how generational toys and games are. I remember playing with My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake just like it was yesterday. Now that my little princess is “coming of age” she’s enjoying the same, albeit slightly upgraded, toys as her much younger mama did. One thing that we can both still enjoy and spend hours of quality time doing is coloring. I’m loving this new adult coloring book craze! If you’re like me, and love a good adult book, coloring book that is, you’re going to want to get, “Coloring For Coffee Lovers” by Menucha Citron Cedar.
How ingenious can you get?!? Coloring and coffee … two of my very favorite pasttimes! I LOVE the creative way Menucha brings the coffee to life thru her drawings. I had several that I really liked, but my fave would have to be, “Don’t cry over spilt milk (spilt coffee, on the other hand…)” – how true is that one mama?!?
Menucha also has a “Favorite Recipes” Color in Journal. Such an awesome idea! This book gives you a creative way to preserve up to 164 of your favorite recipes and pass them down to the next generation.
“Coloring for Coffee Lovers” and “Favorite Recipes” make fantastic Christmas gifts for all of the ladies in your life. Personally, I think the recipe journal would make a super bridal shower gift.
