Without a doubt, music sets the tone in almost any environment. When I go to the gym, I have to have some sort of ear buds to crank the music for added motivation. One problem I kept running into was constant problems with the wires attached. I could not tell you the number of times my hand would catch the cord and in turn would pull the earbud out of my ear. Aside from the cords, my biggest problem I always run into with earbuds is not being able to hear my surroundings. Sometimes, if I can speak honestly, it is nice being able to crank up the music and not have to hear the fussing going on among my children. Although it is nice at times, most of the time I really need to be able to hear if my children are needing me for something. With the option of having the ambient sound feature on or off, I can easily turn it to whichever I need. I LOVE that feature!
